"Ideas from creativity, technical
skills from experience and hard work from passion: these are the three
key components required to make high quality entertainment software. But...
"and the money?" someone could ask. Well, the money is the invisible
glue keeping together that C-like expression and it only comes from satisfied
customers.
That's how things work in this crazy, yet so fascinating, little wired
world!"

May 2005: Ecpc
Version 1.5 VGA and QVGA Released |
There are still not many applications
out there with the graphics completely remade to be able to
take advantage of the new generation of Pocket PCs with a
VGA (480x640 pixels) display, four times the resolution
of a standard device with a QVGA (240x320 pixels) display.
The final result stunned even myself once I saw it running
on my Pocket PC. Hope you'll appreciate the effort.
The list of improvements focuses on graphics, but there are
also some new useful features.
- Brand new VGA graphics
for the pleasure of your eyes.
- Added the complete Dutch
translation thanks to Henko Gardebroek.
- New Skin Strip feature:
added the ability to use a set of custom textures
as a background skin for all the menus.
- Finally I've been able to
add the best quality pictures of San Marino, Monaco
and Vatican Euro coins.
- Replaced the previous Interface
mirror mode with a more useful interface mode designed
for left-handers.
- Higher resolution sound effects
provided in the VGA version only.
- Initial language autodetect
and selection based on device locale.
- Collection files now stored
in the folder "\My Documents\Collections"
for easier and safer synchronization.
- Improvements to the QVGA
version graphics.

February 2005: Ecpc Version
1.4 Released |

of Ecpc projecting it into the Shareware world
thanks to the new registration model substituting the previous
Demo/Full version distribution model and becoming even more
friendly for the casual user due to the fact that the Unregistered
version is time unlimited and can be used as a Viewer
for any collection file saved with the Registered version.
Also the list of improvements speaks for itself, starting
from the long awaited French translation.

distribution model and converted the previous Demo version
to a Time Unlimited Viewer.
- Added the complete French
translation thanks to Richard Davy.
- Integration of the Personal
and Swap list collection files by adding a Doubles
parameter in the National Side Menu, although it's still
possible to keep them separated.

with extended menus, X button for quick close and
more intuitive icons in the Euro Table Menu.

- Added Pop up menus
to quickly select countries and coins.
- Experimental cool Interface
mirror mode, useful for left-handers just like me.

2005 as years of issue and updated data about Euro
coins circulation status according to the information provided
by forums and expert collectors.
