"Ideas from creativity, technical skills from experience and hard work from passion: these are the three key components required to make high quality entertainment software. But... "and the money?" someone could ask. Well, the money is the invisible glue keeping together that C-like expression and it only comes from satisfied customers.
That's how things work in this crazy, yet so fascinating, little wired world!"

Resources

In this page you can find a growing list of resources, available mostly on the web but also on other media, specifically related to Euro coins collecting, which I came across during the development of Ecpc and helped me to gather the data about Euro coins I needed.
They represent an important source of information both for beginners to discover the fascinating world of Euro coins collecting and for expert collectors to dig deeper into specific matters they're interested into.
If you have come across any relevant resource relating to Euro coins collecting, contact me and I'll add it to the list.

Euro 2002 Information Campaign

Made by the European Central Bank and available in 11 different languages, this should be the first stop for anyone searching for introductory information about the Euro coins, notes and much more, although it's limited only to the 12 members of the European Union.

Information on the Euro

The official website by the European Commission, also available in 11 different languages, contains interesting information on the history and on current issues of the Economic and Monetary Union.
Although not as polished and well presented as the previous website, you can find a lot of official detailed documents about all things Euro related.

Euroswapper

Here's a very good reference site for collectors. Available in 9 languages, it offers numismatic news, information about the Euro coins and most of all the possibility to swap Euros with other collectors, all of it for free.
Also in their forum there's a section devoted to Euro Collector 2002, a nice shareware utility for desktop PCs developed by Richard Davy for Euro coins and notes collectors.

Lars Finster's Münzen-Seiten

The website by Lars Finster is a great resource for Euro coins collectors since it not only provides accurate details about the coin edge types and Mint marks, but also is one of the best ones where to find information and pictures about the Euro coins variants.
Check it out, because the detailed pictures of the variant types will help you identify your coins before adding them in the Ecpc table
.
It's available in German, but you can translate it in your language with Google or Altavista Babel Fish.
