17th May 2005: Euro Coins Pocket Collector 1.5 VGA and QVGA Press Release


Albegor Entertainment announces the release of the new version of its educational software for the Windows Mobile platform:
Euro Coins Pocket Collector 1.5, now both in QVGA and in the brand new VGA graphics.

One of the few software currently available on the market with the graphics completely remade and optimized to take advantage of the high-end Pocket PCs with a high resolution VGA (480x640 pixels) display, EcPc won't fail to amaze for the quality and the definition of the details, elements which collectors can appreciate more than anyone else.

The improvements don't stop at the graphics appearance but extend to including new features and functionalities such as the exclusive interface mode for left-handers, the ability to use a set of custom textures as a background skin for all the menus and the addition of the complete Dutch translation, which brings up to six the total number of language localizations together with the English, French, German, Portuguese and Italian translations.

Euro Coins Pocket Collector is distributed according to a "fair use" shareware licensing model, since the unregistered version can be used as a viewer to review the collection files created by the registered users or simply to learn more about the Euro coins.

The release of the VGA version brings even closer the release of the PC desktop version, which will make happy not only Euro coins collectors that don't own a PDA and then still ignore how much handy is the opportunity of managing their collection on the go, but also all the curious ones who do appreciate quality software provided at the right price.

Albegor Entertainment announces the release of the new version of its original educational software for the Windows Mobile platform:
Euro Coins Pocket Collector 1.4.

Euro Coins Pocket Collector ( EcPc ) is an unique software for Euro coins collectors on the go which puts in the palm of their hand a powerful and friendly graphical tool to manage and review their precious collection, as well as providing accurately researched information about the coins common and national sides, coin variants, edge types and Mint marks.

This release marks the big re-launch of EcPc projecting it into the Shareware world thanks to the new licensing model substituting the previous Demo/Full version distribution model thus becoming even more friendly for the casual user due to the fact that the Unregistered version is time unlimited and can be used as a Viewer for any collection file saved with the Registered version.

Thanks to EcPc a beginner collector of Euro coins will have a whole world of detail to discover in front of him, while the expert will find a new exciting way to keep his coins data safe, well organized and easily shareable with other collectors all around the world.

Casual users such as travelers around Europe with their Pocket PCs will appreciate EcPc's educational value using it as a complete reference about Euro coins on the go and as a viewer for the collection files created by registered users, freely and without any time limit.
